Berlin : Une cité quelque peu bouleversée!
Berlin n'est pas à l'Allemagne ce qu'est Paris à la France. Si Paris bénéficia des soins d'Hausmann pour la rendre si unique aux yeux du monde, Berlin elle, peu de temps avant était façonné par Schinkel devenant la nouvelle "Athènes septentrionale".
Mais avoir un modèle n'était pas sans risque, Berlin avait donc choisi Athènes et comme l'antique cité, Berlin connut successivement ses rois, la démocratie, la ruine, la tyrannie, le MUR.
Le paysage urbain y est tant richement bouleversé par l'Histoire que je ne parvenais pas à trouver un sujet bien précis à fixer via l'objectif parmi tous ces symboles. 
Paradoxalement presque 70 ans jour pour jour après la fin de la dernière guerre, voilà que le sentiment qui me dominait est que la ville parvient enfin à trouver son nouveau visage. UN visage.
Pourtant, marqué par l'Histoire, par son histoire, ce qui est frappant dans Berlin, c'est la recherche du monument maintenant le plus absent de la ville, le MUR. Un manque physique inextricable . 
On le cherche, on le devine, on l'imagine ici ou là.
Le voici donc ce fil conducteur et bien malgré moi obligé de constater que la ville c'est d'abord et toujours ... des murs dans Berlin.
Berlin: a city somewhat upset!
Berlin is not to Germany what Paris is to France. If Paris benefited from Hausmann's care to make her unique face to the rest of the world, shortly before Berlin was shaped by Schinkel becoming the "New Northern Athens". Have this as a model was not without risk, Berlin had therefore chosen Athens and as the antique city, Berlin will have successively known her kings, democracy, ruin, tyranny, the Wall.
The urban landscape is so richly shattered by the history that I did not managed to find a precise subject to shoot through the lens among all these symbols. Paradoxically, almost 70 years to the day after the end of the last war, the feeling which dominates me, is that the city finally managed to find it's new face. One face.
Nevertheless, marked by the History, by it's story, what is striking in Berlin, it's the search for the monument the most absent in the city, the WALL.
An inextricable physical lack. We look for it, we imagine it here and there.
Here's the central theme and despite myself, obliged to notice that the city is first and always... walls in Berlin.
